massage therapists
Amy B. Neuzil, RN, LMT, NCBTMB
I graduated from the Christ Hospital School of Nursing in 1986 and spent twenty of a twenty-one year nursing career working with children. Most of that time was spent at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center working with acutely ill children on a medical unit as well as the pediatric intensive care unit. The last seventeen years was spent in orthopedic clinic which served as a natural stepping stone to massage therapy. Truthfully, the primary reason I decided to make the leap from nursing to massage therapy was to be able to give care to a patient/client which would be totally focused and without interruption. I graduated from SHI Integrative Medical Massage School in 2004 and spent until 2007 working at Mitchell's Salon and Spa. It was a great place to work right out of massage school because it provided the experience I needed to feel confident moving toward my goal of providing medical massage. Since April 2008 I have been with The Alliance Institute for Integrative Medicine. My goal over the next couple years is to receive additional training in modalities to assist clients with headache management.
