Carmen Fields has worked in the healthcare field for over twenties years. Carmen has worked for the Institute for the past ten years in a dual capacity. Carmen holds a National Board Certification in the area of reflexology. Additionally, she has been trained in the area of “energy” medicine—both formally and informally.

Carmen holds a bachelor degree from Antioch McGregor University in the area of cultural studies.

Carmen is a third generation “healer,” she has had training from her family in American Indian methods of “healing,” which with the guidance of the many teachers at the institute—she has incorporated into a healing practice. She found her most difficult teachers to be—her mother and grandmother--the education has been lifelong and ongoing.

Carmen has expanded her private healing art to include animals. She is an avid photographer—capturing the essence of “energy” in a picture.

Carmen plans to continue refining her “energy” skills by working with her family and the healers of the Mesa and integrating that information with the medical framework of the institute by working in collaboration with the skilled doctors of the institute.
