Mary Kacaba, CCht., Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist
“Whatever you can do or dream you can do, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it. Begin it now.” Goethe
Mary Kacaba has over 19 years of experience as a hypnotherapist. She has attained the highest level of education within the field of hypnotherapy as a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist through the Alchemy Institute of Hypnotherapy in Santa Rosa, California. Mary has furthered her courses in specialty areas such as recovery from addictions, smoking cessation, weight control, sleep disorders, pain management and forgiveness. She’s a member in highest standing of the National Guild of Hypnotists. Working with Mary provides a unique and personal way for patients to effectively utilize hypnotherapy to gently achieve balance in their body and emotions by harnessing the power of their mind.
Mary works with patients, age seven and older, to achieve a focused state of mind by encouraging the rational, critical mind to temporarily relax. This deep relaxation allows communication with the subconscious mind. The subconscious mind houses both the cause and cure of any discord. Positive suggestions in hypnotherapy help fill in the missing pieces to make ongoing improvements in her patients’ lives. Hypnotherapy can help improve a number of common and not so common debilitating issues such as eating disorders, depression, anxiety, phobias, stress management, sexual abuse, domestic violence, disorganization, and overcoming grief and loss. This allows her patients to “let go” of anything holding them back and build up their self-confidence, self-reliance and self-control.
Mary’s expertise brings out the hidden qualities that complement each patient’s personality and improve their life. Through compassion and honed skills, she instills a trust and willingness within her patients to help them harness their “resources within” and overcome their self-defeating beliefs.
One of Mary’s passions is educating the public about the therapeutic uses and benefits of hypnotherapy. She enjoys dispelling myths about hypnotherapy by facilitating public speaking engagements to civic organizations, educational presentations to college nursing students, Shriner’s Hospital staff, interviews on WAIF radio and interactive informational talks at our Institute.
In addition to hypnotherapy, her professional background includes civil engineering, finance, and expertise in professional organization. A Cincinnati native who remains active in her community, Mary serves on the Board of Trustees at New Thought Unity Center. Mary has a passion for knowledge and brings a wealth of real life experience to her sessions. Using her extensive professional background, she helps patients overcome challenges, gain control, and experience wellness in their lives. Mary is excited to invite you to experience this for yourself.
